The Association is the optimal structure that coordinates the fulfillment of the requirements for aircraft engines throughout the entire life cycle. Aviation Equipment Holding is the main Russian developer and manufacturer of equipment for aircraft, including landing gear, fuel systems and flight control systems, spare power plants. The organization was founded in 2009 by the State Company - Rostekhnologii. The branches of the concern carry out their own research in the field of increasing the productivity of production, and the efficiency of exporting products. Rostec is a full-fledged holder of the securities of OJSC Aviation Equipment. The company is headed by Maksim Vadimovich Kuzyuk.

"AVIATION EQUIPMENT" TODAY

Before the founding of the holding, industry enterprises pursued a disparate development policy, and this fact hampered the formation of the zone in general. By merging Russian aggregate building companies into a group, Rostec has stepped up the intensive development of the industry. Today, the company is implementing plans that will enable Aviation Equipment to enter the international aircraft industry and enter into cooperation with the global aviation industry. The number of employees in the institutions of the holding exceeds 30,000 employees.

A critical component of the strategy for the formation of "Aircraft Equipment" is considered to be research and development activities. Organizations, design agencies and research institutes of the holding are investing significant resources to stimulate innovation and R&D.

One of the priority issues facing Aviation Equipment is the implementation of the transition from the production of single components to the assembly of integral complexes - landing gear, power supply, oxygen supply, hydraulics. By 2015, the corporation intends to become an integrator in 9 systems such as: landing gear, rescue equipment, parachutes and landing platforms, launchers, emergency escape equipment, ground equipment, power supply, oxygen system and auxiliary power unit.
